Introducing Rising Artist: Aakash

Aakash is a 21-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer with roots in classical piano training. His musical career began in childhood, leading him through youth bands, school performances, and early original compositions toward an artistic language that today is characterized by emotional clarity, self-reflection, and narrative depth.

With his debut EP “SUPERSTAR” (2024), Aakash first presented a versatile soundscape spanning pop-rock, R&B, and experimental production. The project served deliberately as an exploration—a testing of different genres, moods, and role models. Two years later, his upcoming debut album marks a clear turning point: Aakash has taken the time to define his artistic core and shape a sound that is more coherent, conscious, and personal.

The album is firmly anchored in pop but draws heavy inspiration from R&B, hip-hop, and bedroom hyperpop. Despite its stylistic diversity, it follows an internal thread: the confrontation with self-doubt, loss of identity, interpersonal fractures, and the slow process of finding one’s footing again. The songs act as snapshots of an internal upheaval—honest, sometimes raw, but never unreflective.

The first single, “Bombay Heartbreak,” serves as the emotional entry point to the album. Created in Mumbai, high above a city that never stands still, the song tells of a state between letting go and disorientation. It is exemplary of the album: representing the feeling of losing oneself in an overwhelming world, while simultaneously marking the beginning of a new inner alignment. Linguistically and sonically, Aakash combines English and Spanish lyrics with emotional pop and hyperpop-inspired elements.
Parallel to his work as a solo artist, Aakash is also active as a songwriter and producer. He has worked with international artists such as Lou Bliss and Gavin Hudner, as well as domestic artists including Skyler Wind, Meo, and Eli Graf. In early 2024, he released the collaborative EP “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” with Eli, which received national and international radio airplay and surpassed 50,000 streams in a short period.

For Aakash, music is not a product but a process—a means to make internal conflicts tangible and to openly negotiate themes such as vulnerability, guilt, intimacy, and self-perception. His songs give space to those feelings that often remain unspoken, connecting intimate narratives with a clear artistic stance.
