Many individuals who are only familiar with the streets remain steadfastly loyal to their environment. It is challenging to detach oneself from a setting that previously provided comfort and a sense of belonging. Regrettably, many become entangled in the criminal activities associated with such surroundings. Bradley Cowans Jr., widely recognized by his stage name Kam Dutchie, was raised amidst the illicit undertakings of Atlanta. He was determined not to allow the streets to define or ensnare him. Consequently, he turned to music as an escape from external noise and composed his own sounds—controlled and personal.
Dutchie committed himself fully to his craft, envisioning the ultimate blend of trap and hip-hop. His debut album, From da Struggle to the Hustle, comprises eight tracks, each narrating aspects of the artist’s inner thoughts. His single “Bout A Check” earned radio airplay and recognition, featured on Coast 2 Coast mixtapes, appeared on BET Jams Pain music video, and achieved viral success on SoundCloud with over 30,000 units sold globally. Kam Dutchie takes pride in his authentic persona.
